Lavender Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup of sugar
¼ cup  fresh OR 1 tbsp. dried lavender blooms stripped from stems
1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, strained
Ice cubes
Lavender sprigs for garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar with 2 ½ cups of water in a medium pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar
  2. Add lavender blooms to the sugar water, cover, and remove from heat. Let stand for atleast 20 minutes
  3. Strain mixture and discard lavender. Pour into a glass pitcher. Add the lemon juice and another 2 ½ cups of water. Stir well and watch the mixture change colors.
