Lavender Lemonade Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
¼ cup fresh OR 1 tbsp. dried lavender blooms stripped from stems
1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, strained
Ice cubes
Lavender sprigs for garnish
Directions:
- Combine sugar with 2 ½ cups of water in a medium pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar
- Add lavender blooms to the sugar water, cover, and remove from heat. Let stand for atleast 20 minutes
- Strain mixture and discard lavender. Pour into a glass pitcher. Add the lemon juice and another 2 ½ cups of water. Stir well and watch the mixture change colors.
